Changes made to the rules on providing leverage

December 17, 2015

Dear clients and partners,

Exness Group is writing to inform you that it has optimized the procedure for changing margin requirements on weekends and holidays. Pursuant to the rules on providing leverage, increased margin requirements will take effect for orders opened from 19:00 GMT +0 on Friday through 23:00 GMT +0 on Sunday. The margin for such positions will be calculated based on a leverage of 1:200.

As such, the period which the increased margin requirements are in effect has been reduced, and the procedure for calculating margin has been amended: the margin for positions opened before 19:00 GMT +0 on Friday will no longer be recalculated.

Our specialists are confident that this optimization will make the conditions for providing leverage more transparent.

You can review the updated rules on the corresponding page of our official website. For Exness clients' convenience, a new article on the website also provides explanations regarding the calculation of margin for trading orders on weekends and holidays.

Please feel free to contact us should you have any question about these changes. Exness client support is ready to answer them, 24/7.
