#FXTMbasejump Project Puts Spotlight on Risk Management & Safety

21 September, 2016

Legendary BASE jumper and Red Bull Athlete Valery Rozov’s journey in the #FXTMbasejump project has taken him through various peaks across the globe. Following Valery’s strict training & preparation in France and Peru, the BASE jumper made his way to Dolomites, in Italy where he performed a series of training jumps as the #FXTMbasejump great finale approaches.

This part of the project drew focus on the importance of risk management to both forex trading and BASE jumping.

Rely On the Authorities

‘As a financial company, FXTM takes all the necessary measures to provide clients with high-level protection standards, by being regulated, licensed and registered with some of the most globally acclaimed regulatory authorities’
Eleana Massoura – FXTM Head of Compliance

As a BASE jumper Valery Rozov knows that he must be able to have full confidence in equipment, his team and his environment, in order to perform a successful jump.

Trust the Numbers

‘We proudly publish our performance statistics for everyone to see. FXTM has always been a firm believer that complete transparency is the basis of trust between us and our clients’
Charis Mountis – FXTM Global Head of Dealing

Valery will make all the necessary measurements and calculations to ensure the weather conditions are suitable for the BASE jump. Knowing how to trust the numbers is key to understanding how to judge the right moment to make the leap.

Be in Control

‘Trading in the financial industry encompasses a number of risks, however FXTM cooperates solely with top-tier banks, reputable liquidity providers so that our traders are always in control and able to manage their exposure to these risks’
George Kyriakoudes – FXTM CFO

By understanding that in extreme sports nothing can be left to chance, Valery can take all the necessary measures to ensure his safety. Knowing this, he is able to control his emotions and stick to his strategy.

Valery’s commitment to safety is a great representation of how a trader’s outlook on risk management should be and the importance of taking all the necessary precautions before daring to take the step forward, fearlessly.

The #FXTMbasejump has one more stop to go before the unveiling of its grand finale! Can you guess where it could be taking place? Follow Valery Rozov’s progress on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to see something EXTRAORDINARY! Stay tuned.
