German IFO business climate

24 July, 2017

German Ifo business climate will be out at 11:00 MT time on July 25. Germany is the leading economy in the eurozone, so significant changes in its business climate usually cause big intraday moves in the pairs containing the EUR.

An upbeat headline will assure market participants of the nation’s economic health and make them buy the single currency. A significant negative divergence from the consensus forecast will result in the EUR selling against other major currencies.
