Reason for the trading strategy

Germany's Gfk consumer confidence index, calculated for June, rose from 10.1 p. to 10.2 p. and exceeded the forecast of 10.0 p. The data reflect an increase in consumer spending in the eurozone's largest economy, which supports the euro.
