On Wednesday, the price of the pair NZD/USD continued to rise, reaching weekly highs at the level of 0.7564. However, the NZD failed to maintain reached positions and the pair has corrected. The rise was caused by macro-statistics. The American dollar fell because of the weak data on retail sales in the USA. In April this index amounted to 0.0%, which was worse than the forecast and the level of 1.1% of the previous month. On the other hand, retail sales in New Zealand have increased by 2.7% in Q1, while experts predicted the decline in this index.
