Balance. Your status is updated every Sunday in accordance with the total balance on your myAlpari account.
Status. After registration, you will be assigned a status. A higher status means a higher coefficient by which the bonus points you earn are multiplied, and a higher limit on the amount of cash for which you can exchange your bonus points.
Coefficient. The coefficient is a multiplier that is applied when calculating bonus points. The higher your coefficient, the more points you receive.
How you can spend bonus points
Improve your trading conditions. You can activate one or more discounts on your account. The money you save through discounts will be credited to your account once a week.
Spread refund of up to 20%. The spread is the difference between the Ask and Bid prices of a currency pair at a given moment. This makes up the bulk of a Forex trader's expenses. The lower the spread, the more profitable a trade can be.
Suppose a purchase order of 5 lots is made on the EURUSD currency pair. Now let's suppose that the spread was 1.3 pips (65 USD) when the position was opened, and 1.1 pips (55 USD) when it was closed.
When making the calculation, we take half of the opening spread (0.65 pips = 32.5 USD) and add it to half of the closing spread (0.55 pips = 27.5 USD). As such, the cost of the spread for this positoin is 60 USD.
If you have the 20% spread refund activated, you'll save 12 USD.
