I've been trading with Octa for a while now, and I thought it's time to share my experience with this brokerage firm. Octa operates with two divisions, one regulated by the CySEC for EU traders and the other registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, serving clients from other countries, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region. One of the standout advantages of Octa is the CySEC license, which offers EU traders protection up to EUR 20,000 per client. This regulatory oversight provides a sense of security for traders like me, knowing that my funds are protected. Octa allows various trading strategies like scalping, hedging, and the use of expert advisors (EAs), which is a big plus for traders who want flexibility in their approach. Additionally, the minimum deposit requirement for non-EU clients is just $25, making it accessible for traders with different budget sizes. However, there are a few downsides to consider. Octa offers fewer trading instruments compared to some other popular forex brokers. This limitation can be a drawback for traders looking for a more diverse range of assets. Additionally, the spreads are not the tightest, so if you're a scalper or a trader focused on minimizing trading costs, this might not be the best choice. For EU clients, trading is restricted to MetaTrader 5, which might disappoint those who prefer MetaTrader 4. Also, negative balance protection is only available through the CySEC-licensed entity, so traders should be cautious about their risk management. Another point worth mentioning is that Octa offers bonuses, referral programs, trading contests, and webinars primarily to traders outside the EU. So, if you're in the EU, you might miss out on some of these promotions. In terms of trading instruments, Octa provides CFDs on 227 assets, including a range of currency pairs and cryptocurrency CFDs. However, it's important to note that the CySEC-licensed division does not offer cryptocurrency trading. Octa has been my broker of choice for the past few months, and overall, my experience has been largely positive. The platform is stable, with a vast array of trading instruments at my disposal. Their trading leverage provisions are generous, and I've found that trading on Octa is not only seamless but also profitable. I've experienced no issues with slippage or requotes, which, for me, speaks volumes about the platform's reliability and integrity. Trading conditions at Octa suit my preferences well. I primarily use the MT4 platform, and I appreciate the simplicity of their fee structure - I pay only the spread without any hidden or additional commissions. It's worth noting for the more ambitious traders out there that leverage for major currency pairs can go up to an impressive 1:500. While I personally steer clear of such high leverage, it's an option that might appeal to certain traders with specific strategies in mind. However, no platform is without its flaws, and there are a couple of areas where I believe Octa could improve. Firstly, the absence of a cent account is a significant drawback for me. While demo accounts offer a risk-free environment, they sometimes lack the realism and psychological elements of live trading, making it challenging to genuinely test new strategies. Secondly, there seems to be an inconsistency in the list of available payment systems. This fluidity in payment options can be a bit unsettling. I made 2 deposits of the amount of INR 14,100 and INR 29,000 on August 29, 2023. The mode of payment was via PhonePe. The transactions were successful but the payment gateway couldn't verify. In both transactions, the amount was deducted from my end.
That's where the trouble started! I reached out to OctaFx and they said instant transfer if halted due to any issue will be automatically credited within 24 hours. I shared payment proofs with them and they said your funds are safe with us. Next day, the amount was not credited. This time they said, they are trying to manually reach out to payment provider to respond and it depends on their operating speed and they cant help till payment provider responds. Now no one know if it takes 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year! OctaFx was reluctant to give a time frame. They were just beating around the bush with same regulate copy paste answers. Now its day 4 and still they say the same thing. Waiting for update from payment provider. Not sure which payment gateway doesn�t respond beyond 24-48 hours. And it clearly shows that the efforts from OctaFx is Zero! I lost 4 trading days and also doubtful about my funds. If the payment gateway doesn�t respond even after 3 days then why are the having such payment providers onboard? And what are their efforts to reach out to payment gateway? No doubt OctaFx is by far the best at trading (I have been trading with them for more than year now) but with regard to deposit and withdrawals I doubt their sincerity and the payment gateways they use. The payment gateway gives us a random individual�s number to transfer the funds. Once transferred and amount not credited then we are in big soup. No where we can see that we are sending it to OctaFx. So now I started to doubt their legality and their mode of operation as well. I read few withdrawal issues here in this forum with similar payment gateway issues. I am not sure when my amount will get credited, as OctaFx says, they cant give a timeframe. It can take 1 day/1week/1 month/1 year. I will post an update here, once I receive the funds so that people can be aware how early or how long does it take to get funds and how quickly/lethargically OctaFx works.

Octafx have not processed my withdrawals. They are delaying my withdraw from 3 business days. I have request withdrawal on 24th July 2023. 1837 usdt. Request I'd: W11474804. Account no. 596296.From three days they making stories that there is technical issue in usdt. The provider having technical issue. Their usdt deposits are working. But their withdraw usdt (trc20) not working. I go to live chat they say we have you on priority someone saying you will receive shortly and some are not giving timeframe. If you were having technical issues on crypto usdt trc20 then you should d have mentionded during withdrawal or emailed me. I was having 6 hours to cancel the withdrawal. Am So So disappointed in my friend that introduce me to OctaFX. How can you recommend a fraudulent Broker such as OctaFX to me? On 04th July, I made a payment of 25000 through UPI to the UPI ID *** as instructed on the Company App portal. However, there seems to be a misallocation of the payment. I deposited 10K on 24th March 2023 in my trading account but it's still not reflecting in my account in order to trade. It's been 25 days since the transaction and I'm writing to customer care on daily basis without any positive response. Every time they say is that their Finance team is getting in touch with the agent for fund verification and will be resolved as soon as possible. I feel it's a total scam and they aren't serious about their customers money. I'll surely tell my friends to refrain from using Octafx in future.

I've live account in octa fx. But there is no security of your fund as if any body hack your mail id and can access you octa fx account. as it happened in my case, now my account is nill. Somebody changed the pin and withdrew all me money from live trading account. And now the support deparment says it is third party access we are not responsible. Why have you not taken safety measures like 2 fa or otp thorogh SmS while withdrwaing. My account is nill because of your negligibility. Hacker has taken adwantage of this, because they can hack any email id and accesss anybody's account.

Octafx blocked my deposit money. Almost one week over. Still my deposit not credited into my trading account. I am asking daily on live chat. They're always saying. Payment service provider problem, some time saying bank side problem. Every time they are saying fake words. They're blocked my deposit. Octafx using my deposit money. They're not good fx broker. Octafx stole my 23000$+ and blocked my account. Upon requesting refund they are telling me you've withdraw more balance than deposit, no refund, they block your account if you profit, so stay away.

Please note that our company constitutes a specific set of trading conditions for our customers' benefit. In cases when our customers violate these terms, as a company, we reserve the right to no longer provide our services to the person deemed in breach of these conditions.

Upon further investigation, we've found a specific abuse of our negative balance protection feature in your account. Notably, some of your orders were opened at once, hedging from two trading accounts. The negative balance protection adjusted your balance in one account while you gained profit in another. Doing that eliminates the risks and abuses the feature provided to our clients as a benefit, and since we cover these adjustments ourselves, we consider such actions an abuse.

That being said, we want to refer to our Customer Agreement, clause 8.2, for the reasons behind your account access restriction and cancellations of the orders affected by the violations:

Any kind of abusing and/or taking unfair (direct or indirect) advantage of the Company'strading conditions may be a subject of investigation. Should facts of such abuses arise, the profit and/or loss gained with this advantage may be cancelled by the Company's decision. The Client fully acknowledges this.

How can one of the leading broker depend on one payment solution provider? I am a very small trader but want to trust the platform but how should I trust when small amount are not being processed. I made 3 withdrawals which are in pending and on contacting the customer care they say it is been processed from our end but we are facing difficulties/technical issues with our payment solution provider/payment gateway so we ask to wait till we solve the issue. So I come back to my above question, �how can you be depended on single solution? To deposit the money you have multiple mediums but for withdrawal only one?

W8720504 and W8720485 are my withdrawal request number. I have made a withdrawal request on 5th December at 3.30 pm. When I contact the customer service, they are providing lame excuses saying, payment provider yet to approve the transaction. It is on your end. If i made delay on the deposit, will you credit the fund into our account. No right. There were time , octafx had deposit withdrawing issues few months back and i regain the trust with you guys, kindly don't spoil it again. Please find an alternative to your customer. I made a withdrawal request on November 15, 2022, and as per octafx website, the amount will be credited in maximum 3 days. Even after 3 days, I still didn't receive the money. Whenever I contact their support team, they give different reasons and ask me to wait. I can see in the previous review that their withdrawal was completed the next day. I don't know why can't they process my request even after 3 days. My withdrawal request ID is W8510417, and my trading account is 12669475. I have never experienced like this with Octafx. Makes me wonder about their customer service.

I have been trading more than 3 years in Octafx so far no problem but last week I withdraw 400 USD to my new bank account. Unfortunately I was entered wrong account number. They completed the withdrawal and processed. When I noticed that I entered wrong account I was contacted immediately Octa customer services. They said that the withdrawal completed and we can't retrieve the amount to your account. I shocked and write many emails to them still my problem in not solved.

As for me I have made a withdrawal on 2nd aug 2022. I have call my bank. They say the amount was rejected and under my apps is still pending. I have contact the customer service. They have different kind of excuses and ask me don't contact bank. I wonder is it a scam shld I report to the police?

I've been trading with octafx recently. My experience says if you keep loosing they won't have a problem but by mistake if you made any profit they will start invesgation of your account. I had 9450$ in my account most of which was profit from my reades. When i tried to withdraw they unverified my account due to reason suspesious activity. Closing profitable trade is a suspicious activity for them. They asked me for bank statement and selfie holding id. I provided documents instead of verifying my account they blocked my account saying according to para 3.10 company reserve the right to discontinue service for you. Also said there will be no refund as your withdrawal exceed your deposit. I tried to search their refund policy in agreement but there is no such rule of embazzling clients funds. So just took my funds. Please stay away from this scam .

Yesterday I contacted OctaFX chat support to complain my husband's Octa account was hacked, there were withdrawal attempts. When his account was hacked, he used my octa account to contact support. As a result, octafx has frozen my account. When I emailed their kyc team, they didn't even check activities on my account, didn't restore it, and basically wasted my time. OctaFX chat support don�t understand English! Lousy service.

I just encountered the similar problem. Mine is $50 too. They claimed they cant process due to different time. I just cant believe a company that claims to be so sophisticated and proudly have major awards, have finance staffs that cant read numbers and check bank accounts. Just a disappointment. Waited 12hrs for a deposit of $50 and still they couldnt solve the issue. What a waste of time.

I was trying to withdraw from my account 2500 usd but it was rejected due to card limit. I checked with my local bank they said that the card has no limit and the withdrawal did not reach the bank. After 1 week I tried again woth 3500 usd and got the same answer from octafx and the local bank. And now I'm stuck. I'm not able to withdraw funds from my octafx account.

Octafx account 4077832. I have accumulated huge lots from when I was platinum member and I have lost 47000$ approximately. But when I was platinum member they have no trade and win gift because I have accumulated huge lots. And octa is not putting high value gift to redeem. Hello. It's been 4 days now and my issue has not been resolved. OctaFX should be transparent enough to send proof that my bank account has been funded. Since I also sent proof for my wallet to be funded on your trading platform. Transparency I required now.
I created a withdrawal request of $5 28/05/2022. Request ID W6980351 and W6982908 respectively. Only one of the withdrawal request was received in my bank account. The support team said I should wait for 24hours this is more than 72 hours and nobody is saying anything.

On 23rd June, I placed a withdrawal request of 49$ (Request ID W6929522). The request got declined and on top of $119 got deducted from my OctaFx Account. When i checked my withdrawal history, it showed 2 withdrawal requests (W6933173 and W6933174) of $100 and $19. I never made these withdrawal requests. I got in touch with customer care and also emailed their support team but was not satisfied with their answers. Please look into this! I'm genuinely disappointed

My withdrawal is in the pending status. It has been more than 24 hours and it still in the pending status. withdrawal no W6777922. I talked to your operator and they say provider end issue for Indian customers. What I have observed is that for last 20 days in this forum you keep writing technical issue. What kind of provider you have in this digital issue. This is the reason brokers like ICMarkets are preferred. My account is small and what will happen when the account grows and the withdrawals are large. Scary.

My withdrawal was in pending status. After 72 hours I received the money. People trade to withdraw profits. And you delay the withdrawal then it is of no point to trade with Octafx. I had made two withdrawal of 173$ on 29th may and 247$ on 31st of may. They refunded amount of 173$ in two seperate transaction. For remaining amount they just use to say there is some technical issue. I am contacting them every day. I get same reply wait for 7 days.

I requested 300usd withdrawal on 30th May 2022 and still waiting for the request to complete and receive money to my account. I deposited $1000 worth of bitcoins with Octafx pro, and was told that I cold withdrawal a sum of $10,000 after 7 days. Octafx took my money from my visa account when I made my deposit, but on withdrawal they forced me to make use of tether even refused to use my Bitcoin. They are the biggest scam. Waking up to a trade I didn't place on Friday and my account is swiped off with me not placing a trade, how octafx? Is that how octafx now do, place a trade automatically and swipe off equity, this is bad.

I have made a deposit. Now it is third day, yet i have not received credit. I talked to lot of customer support agent, but no use of talking to any support agent. I have pathethic experience on this platform. Now they say, they have payment gateway problem. I have asked them, had they informed their customer not to deposit, due to the fault. They do not have any reply.

My Acc ID is 37585089, also experienced the same shady behaviour from them. I deposited funds using my business account and to my surprise, my trading account was disabled. Upon my enquiry on this, I was requested to send the supporting documents to get it enabled again - I swiftly sent everything given that they still left all my trades running even though I could not access the account (take note that when the disable your account they leave the trades running which doesn't make any sense, but I sent everything so that I can get or even protect my profits before the market turns). I spoke to over 15 agents on their live chat who all told me that my request is being processed by their finance team without giving me the expected turn around time but only a false hope that I would get my deposit back because I was getting worried. I kept speaking to more agents daily over the course of 2 weeks without any change nor update as promised. It's been over 3 weeks with no action nor solid update from them. It's gotten to a point where the market turned against my positions and I still have no access to even close the trades. My experience with this broker has been the worst - haven't even gotten that promised email from the finance team which I doubt even exists.

I started trading with OctaFx for the first time in Feb. I did quite well and decided to withdraw my profits and keep my original investment. I withdrew 5 March and today is the 10th. All customer support keeps saying is I have to wait for an email from finance. No reference number. No turnaround time. It takes only about 10 minutes to deposit yet when you try to withdraw they'll say it has been credited and the banks were just waiting to process it. Fucking hell it's been a month. Tried to withdraw last February 11. No balance left on my account and it's March 9 already. I'll spread the news that I definitely don't recommend Octafx.

I requested my withdrawal W5289891 on Feb 8th, which has not yet been completed so far. I contacted Support on the reason for delay. They keep on saying that some maintenance issue at payment provider end. I don't understand why maintenance issue has been going on for such a long time, and they didn't complete my payment.
